Pouria is a 30 year old kurdish man, who provides for his family by dedication and hard work. This young man was called by the intelligence ministry to appear at the headquarter of his province. Since Pouria was fully confident that he had not done any unlawful act, he immediately reached the court. However, he surprisingly encountered gravely accusations of murder and “waging war against God''. These baseless accusations were made when he was not even present at the crime scene. Supported by valid witnesses, that day Pouria was working in another city. Regardless, he was sent to jail, where he was brutally tortured to write a false confession against himself. The same forced confession is being used by the authorities to execute him. Now, Pouria’s life is in imminent danger for accusations that have no basis and evidence.
