Manouchehr, a middle aged man, was arrested on his way to meet up with a friend with the accusation that he had set fire to a community parking lot during the protests over the death of #MahsaAmini. Like many others he was tried in a bench court with no access to a lawyer of his choice. Alas, despite his denial and the fact that there is no evidence to the contrary, he was charged with waging war against God which is a crime punishable by death based on the Criminal Codes of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI).
