Ebrahim was born in the South East of Iran, bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan in a region that despite having natural resources and mines is suffering from extreme poverty. Ebrahim, a compassionate medical intern, was arrested by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on 13 Oct 2022, on his way back home from the hospital. He is accused of treating the wounded protesters, waging war against God and corruption on Earth. Waging war against God and corruption on Earth are crimes punishable by death based on the Criminal Codes of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI).
